RateReady is a contract loading service run by Clyde Palmer under STM Consulting. Questions about your information go to hello@rateready.io.
When you ask for a document
The form on the resources page asks for your name, work email, company and role, and records which document you asked for and when. It's used to give you the document and, because you agreed to it, for Clyde to follow up by email about RateReady. Leaving your details is voluntary; without them the document isn't sent.
The request is kept in RateReady's server logs on Google Cloud for up to 90 days, and in the record of who Clyde is talking to while you're in touch. It is never sold, shared for marketing or added to a mailing list.
When you arrive from one of my emails
Emails from Clyde carry a link to this site that names your company. When you open the site through that link, it records that the link was opened, which pages you read, how long the page was on screen and how far you scrolled. It uses no cookies; the company name is kept in your browser for that tab only. Adding ?self=1 to the address turns it off.
Everyone else
Visitor counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't follow you across sites. This site sets no cookies and carries no advertising trackers.
Where it's kept
The site is hosted on Google Firebase, the form and logs run on Google Cloud, and visitor counts on Cloudflare. Those services may process information outside your country, under their own safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask what's held about you, have it corrected or deleted, or tell Clyde to stop contacting you, at any time, by writing to hello@rateready.io. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in South Africa that's the Information Regulator.
